Hi,
I have several drop down lists in a .xlxm file, all created using data validation. When reopening the document today, all my lists were still intact and working as they should. The problem is that when I go into the data validation to change the source, the source field is empty. Do I need to write the code again, or is it hidden somewhere, since the drop down list is still working?

Data Validation removes Source formula, but not drop down list

You could have a different kind of drop-down list, a combo box form control or an ActiveX combo box. Those will look like and behave like the data validation drop-down lists but are made in a slightly different way.
