Calculate Retirement Date Based on DOB and Years of Service

0

I am trying to calculate a person's retirement date based on the following statement: You have to have worked for the company for at least 20 years if you want to retire at 61, 62, 63, or 64 and still collect the same pension as someone at age 65. So essentially, what date are they eligible to retire if the employee is 60 or older AND the employee has 20 years of experience or more?

Can you describe the issue in more detail? It's not entirely clear what you are trying to ask. (edit your original question to do this)

I didn't understand what you want

Do you want a code or formula to know if this person is eligible to retire?

Agreed with MRVMV.

Besides the fact that this is homework, and homework always gives BS scenarios like this, you didn't give anyone here enough information to be able to help you.

Based on your information, I would say he can retire at age 61 and, so, if that employee is already 60 or older, the date is probably today lol.

To get help on a problem like this you really do need to try to answer it yourself first and then give us all the info.
