Use AutoCorrect to change the text a user enters into something funny.

This is a great little prank to use on co-workers. It makes it so that every time they enter a specific word, it will automatically change to another word, a word that you choose.

  1. Go to the File menu and then click Options. For Excel 2007, Office button > Excel Options.
  2. Go to the Proofing category and then click the button AutoCorrect Options...

  3. In the window that opens, go to the AutoCorrect tab and type the word that you want to replace into the Replace field and the word that you want to replace it with in the With field.
  4. Hit OK and you're done. Go back to Excel and test it out.

When I hit Enter, it automatically changes to this:

This is one of my favorite Excel pranks!!!

Have fun with this prank and make sure to try it out on someone special. :)
