Manually Calculate Formulas and Functions in Excel

How to force Excel to recalculate all formulas and functions without editing or entering any data. This works great when you need to refresh linked data or update randomly generated values in Excel.

F9 - keyboard shortcut that recalculates the entire Excel workbook.

Shift + F9 - keyboard shortcut that recalculates only the currently visible worksheet.

Ribbon Menu: Formulas tab > Calculation section
