I have a database with EE's hours, if the pay period crosses months the system separates the time into 2 rows. I have several columns of different time that I need it to sum for each employee and paste it into one row with the totals.

There is an XL item which removes duplicates so you could try that
Then you could sort the results by employee
Then you could sum the cols as required
Alternatively you could post a sample workbook and a bit more detail as to how to identify the duplicates, which columns have which times and what units they are in and if you want the sum to be in the same units. Do you want the totals by month or from day one.
