Morning all,
Can anyone suggest a good tutorial on linking Access to Excel, possibly through data access pages?
I have a spreadsheet "Map" of the country, and lots of data stored by different scenarios in Access. What I'd like to get to is something where I can pick a scenario, and for that data to be shown on said map.
The table structure is roughly as follows
Scenario:
ScenarioName
Year
Situation
Supply Point:
Node
Volume
ScenarioName
It shouldn't be very complicated to link the two together, but not sure how to start this one off.

I want to save an excel sheet I have made as HTML, but I use freezed panes to
keep various headings up the top. How do I save the page as HTML so that I
can scroll down the page whilst keeping the headings up the top? Anyone have
any ideas?
I am trying to find aout the differences between using the Publish button in
Save as Web Page and using Save in there. I have seen that when I use Save,
it saves the Named ranges as bookmarks where Publish saves them as cell
references. Can you tell me why and if there are any other differences I may
need to know
I'm trying to save some data in a web page into Excel. What's the best way to proceed?
I am trying to save an excel worksheet that querys data every 5 minutes. I
would like to convert the worksheet into an htm file and publish to the
network and I have the option set for republish file upon save. However, what
I am looking to do is have the htm file when open update the screen
automatically every 5 minutes instead of the user having to do either a
close/open of the file or hit the refresh button of the htm page. Can this be
done?

Anyone knows some sites where they give free excel video tutorials? Appreciate it.
Hi, I'm new to this forum. Just wanted to give a link to a basic Excel tutorial my students enjoyed. Looking over this forum, it's may be too basic. It just teaches formatting, the AutoSum button, a basic formula, etc. I don't teach anymore and I miss being 'helpful'. Maybe some of you have a youngster who's just learning Excel. I gave this lesson to 4th through 6th grades, and some of them actually wanted a second tutorial like this one. Anyway, sorry for the long post...here's the link:
