The dollar format is not displayed when using multiple if condition

The dollar format (or any other format) shouldn't be affected by the the formulas in the cell, all formats like it see the values only.

But, you may putted any other letter or sign like ' with the numiric value so excel read it as text

If you want to not remove that text you could use &"$" for example

=if (1=1,"'"&5+10,"'"&5+10)&"$"

This will give '15$

If you didn't see that text in your formulas, just edit your answer and type the formula that excel didn't format it or attach a sample file.
