Filter data set on hourly basis

0

I've an excel sheet that contains data every hour of the year. I'd like to filter the data to get the values from from 8 am to 4 pm for the weekdays only. Then I want to have the monthly total and average for the filtered data.

I'm using excel 360 on MAC OS.

Hi and welcome to the Forum.

Please edit your question and use the Add Files... button to upload a representative Excel file (not any personal data) to show how the hourly data is stored. It should be easy to filter and delete the unwanted data.

Also, kindly update your Forum profile to show which version of Excel you use- it may rule out some solutions.

Did you solve it (without uploading a file) then?

Thank you so much. I solved it already.
The way I solved wasn't helpful to get the monthly total and average.

Fair enough but please update your profile anyway (for your next question)
