Could not save macro for sending email in excel step 1

When I tried to run email macro in vs 10 excel it would not accept the macro and returned a Run-time error 438: 

The object doesn't support this property or method (VBA) code

Your question doesn't include enough detail to understand what your problem is or which tutorial you refer to. Please EDIT your original question to provide the URL and preferably attach your Excel file (using the Add Files... button) since the missing object might be a named worksheet e.g.

I have a sneaky suspicion that you are using Outlook objects instead of late binding or don't have Outlook setup and running properly on its own. Also, if you are referring to the Email course, you can always use the "Contact" link at the top of the page to message about that and get email support for your question.

John_Ru, you hit the nail on the head I did not have a name worksheet. As soon as I named my worksheet the Code worked. Thanks for the tip John and you to don for the help.
