making Dashbord interactive

0

Hi All,

I have already created a dashboard on an excel sheet whereby I have several graphs included.

I want to make my dashboard interactive now.

Can I create buttons on my existing chart so that when I click on these buttons it brought me to my source data (data from which chart has been made).

Please help.

Thanks.

Yes. You can attach a macro to your button which executes when the button is clicked. The macro would be programmed to select whatever you want selected.

Could you please help me for creating the macros. I created a button separately and when I Clicked on the button it brings me to the source data..

My requirement is to click on the chart i created itself and then it brings me to my source data

Naqiym, I have some doubt that I would be able to program what you describe but I'm absolutely sure that this isn't the place to find out. Your question was asked, answered and closed. If you now have another one create a new thread. As you put it here - for lack of space - it can't be answered even if the capability should be available. If you decide on a new question make sure you attach your workbook, the button you already have, and any code you have tried, explaining your edxperience with it.
