suppose there are cells in a row or column in which a colour is applied in background and i want to copy just next cell data where cell background colour not applied ... is it possible ?

Yes, it is possible. In your macro, you would test for the interior colour not equal to next cell colour. Having said that the interior of a cell can be very complex as it has things like tint and shade. To get an idea of what is involved record changing some cell colours.
I have added a macro-enabled excel which demonstrates this.
