  1. You need to design the invoice.
  2. You need to design the sheet on which you wish to record some data.
  3. You need to design your workflow (to prevent premature recording as well as forgetting to record)
  4. You need to design a trigger and build it into your workflow. 
    The trigger could be pressing a button or it could be entering data in a specific cell.
  5. Finally, you need to show some own effort.
    Once you have thought out the whole system you will be able to look for specific code on the internet. Much of what you need is available to the one who knows how to look for it. Once you know what you want you also know how to look - automatically.
