0

Dear Sirs,

Usually, I receive email updates

  • Email updates when replies are made to my posts in the forum
  •  Email updates when new questions are asked in the forum

The setting for both is On in my Profile

The last email update is Fri 22-Mar-19 6:00 PM

Need help to ensure that I receive email updates from the Forum for both

  • Email updates when replies are made to my posts in the forum
  •  Email updates when new questions are asked in the forum

Best regards

Arsil Hadjar

Don, I frequently edit posts. Could it be that in an effort not to send notifications several times all notiticatiosn are cancelled?

Not sure, but I'll look into it today guys.

From what I see, everything looks ok to me. I checked your email settings for the site, all seems good, and I checked the place that sends the email and it seems good, and I haven't had an issue getting the emails myself. There is one more potential issue that I can think of related to the most recent server move, but can you first check your spam/junk folders to see if it got in there? The edit posts emails run a bit different and should not send a new notification until the previous one has been viewed. Also, these emails run on a much smaller scale when triggered; the scale issue might be the cause of the other email issue though if it didn't just end up in a spam folder.

Dear Don,

I have checked my spam folder and no  email updates from the forum in that folder

Dear Don,

To solve the problem, should I unsubscribe from the forum and then re-subscribe again afterward?

Sure, go ahead and try that because I am not seeing this issue on my end. I can take another look at the issue soon if it still persists; really not sure why this would be happening - email is a lot more annoying to manage than I ever imagined lol.

Arsil, did you ever start getting the emails?
don (rep: 1989) Aug 5, '19 at 4:45 pm
Dear Don,

Sorry for the late reply.
Yes, the situation back to normal again and I already start getting emails again.
The case now can be considered closed

Many thanks for the help.
