Hi,

My task is to count the total ammount that a vendor is being charged a fee within a time period. 

Problems: some vendors have one line of charge, while some other vendors have multiple lines of charge.

I've tried a combination of COUNT/COUNTIFS/IFS/VLOOKUP/INDEXMATCH COMBO/ ETC of formulas but none of them seem to give me the results I'm looking for.

What I'm Looking for: a formula that automatically counts the ammount of payments made to each vendor within a time period.

Only one way: post your workbook. The worksheet should have the column where you want to have the count (or amount) with a few sample results already entered. Then the task will be to create the same results using a formula. You should explain the rules by which the result is to be calculated or extracted.
