Data Label of Pie Chart Does Not Refresh when I enter new data the pie chart should automatically update with teh new totals but it doesn't. I have tried to reset the data labels but it appears to only be a temporary fix. Can anyone please help? thanks

Sounds like you have automatic calculations turned-off.
Does it refresh when you hit F9? If so, then go to the Formulas tab > Calculation Options (on the right side of the ribbon menu) > select Automatic.
