How to control paragraph spacing

Hi Don,

Building on previous success, enter and shift+enter have opposite results in Answer and Discussion modes. If MS Word is the guide then the function in your Discussion mode should be reversed.

haha you're right! I didn't even notice that. Does it cause any issues that you noticed? The discussion section is meant to have very minimal formatting options to begin with so I wan't too worried about it.

Minimal or not, it is a formatting feature intended to be there. IMHO it would be better if it would conform with what MS has taken decades to teach PC users. Other than that it has no effect. Wouldn't it be easy to just reverse the action? It should be one operator in one line of code, isn't it?

I looked into it and remembered why it behaves the way it does.

The thing is that, for these discussion sections, I don't want there to be as many formatting options as for the Answer input sections. Basically, making this a reality has caused the result that you mentioned. Looking through the documentation, I didn't see a way to turn this behaviour off without it causing unwanted changes to other features of the input areas.

Haha. Using the wrong screw driver bit then. Lucky me! I stick with VBA where I have to do everything myself and no one else to blame when the result isn't as expected. I suggest you leave it just as it is. It will work the way you intended for all but a few freaks like myself who get extra service if they know how to get it.
