Dynamic chart

0

Hi,

I have a querry regarding the dynamic chart. I change the value from 1-5 in cel D5 which changes my chart. But in most situations, the chart description shows zero/ blank line items. I want these zero/ blank line items to be removed from the chart description and only want the non zero values/components to show up in the chart description.

I suggest trying to use dynamic named ranges for the chart, using a formula like this:

=OFFSET($A$2,0,0,COUNTA($A:$A),1)

This probably won't work to hide the titles though. Given your data set I don't think what you want to do is easily feasible; as in, there would still be rows for the empty data series. I'd just replace the - with a zero 0 and call it a day.

For more info on the formula above, look to our tutorial: Dynamic Named Range in Excel
