for a banking export report i need to turn a number into 10 character text with leading and trailing zeros
so 756.23 becomes 000075623
500.00 becomes 0000050000
8555.10 beciomes 000085510
i cant seem to get it done
any help is appreciate

Use the TEXT function; Please take a gander at how it is used in excel Help ~ this will fully describe. =TEXT(K45*100, "0000000000") where "K45" is your cell that you are looking up. (You need to multiply your Amounts by 100 to remove decimals, then it's a straight Text function). [ i'd rather be a boston cream pie counter....I really miss that most in Boston. I'm a 'Buffalo wing" bean counter!]
