0

I created an excel file then shared it without a password. Now my editing functionality is jeapardized. I can no longer create or edit hyperlinks, nor can I delete worksheets. Any suggestions? (over 300 worksheets in this massive file.

Have you checked to see if anyone else is accessing the file at the same time as you are? This can cause similar issues.

Also, are you certain that the worksheet or workbook has not been protected by one of the individuals with whom you shared the file?

If that doesn't help, please explain (update your question with this info.) how you shared the file.

Under Review - Share Workbook (left password blank) and did not select "Protect Shared Workbook". I thought it would allow others to access it but just let me know what who accessed it.
It might be problem with the older version of Excel (97) and I may have to redo the whole file.

It says you are using Excel 2010 in your profile...

Perhaps use MS Access or something better suited to handling large chunks of  info...AND it will allow hyper links.
