Display Text If Values Coincide

0

I would like to know if it's possible to display a text after selecting different values from drop down lists. I'm working on an inventory and I want to display the part #. For example:

If 'type' and if 'length' and if 'thread', then display 'part #'.

If 'Flat' and if '1/2' and if '#4-40', then displat 'SAM-001'

This is "normal" fare in Excdel. You can achieve this result both with wroksheet formulas or with VBA. At the link below you can learn how to use Excel's VLOOKUP worksheet function with multiple criteria.
