Case Sensitive Sorting in Excel

How to perform case sensitive sorting in Excel.

  1. Select a cell within the data that you want to sort and then go to the Data tab and click Sort

  2. In the window that opens click the Options button.
  3. Put a check mark next to the Case sensitive option and hit OK.
  4. In the Sort window choose how you want to sort.
    Choose the column by which you want to sort.
  5. Choose Values for the Sort On option.
  6. Choose the order to sort by.
  7. Hit OK and that's it!
