Quickly Delete All Comments from Excel

How to delete all comments and notes from all worksheets in Excel.

This works with old style "notes" and new "comments" and it does not matter if they are hidden or visible.

Remove All Comments from a Worksheet 

1. Select all cells in the worksheet.
2. Go to the Home tab > Editing Section on the right > Clear > Clear Comments and Notes.

Remove All Comments from Entire Workbook 

1. Select all cells in the worksheet.
2. Select all worksheets in the workbook.
3. Go to the Home tab > Editing Section on the right > Clear > Clear Comments and Notes.
