The Magically Appearing Cell in Excel

A fun way to make a cell's contents appear when a specific action occurs.

This works when a certain threshold has been met, when another cell or range of cells equals a certain value, and with any other custom criteria that you can think of, almost.

This trick combines a formula with conditional formatting and custom number formatting and does not use vba or macros at all.
