Extract Text from Cells - Intermediate Example

This is a video tutorial that will show you how to use the FIND() and LEN() functions to extract text and numbers from a cell in excel. This teaches you how to pull the text or numbers from the left side or the right side of a dash and to put the desired text in another cell through formulas. This is especially good for separating text from part numbers or employee lists.
