Here, you will learn what a basic array is and what it can do. This includes an example of a simple array.

Arrays in the most basic sense allow you to skip steps or formulas in the process of making calculations. For instance, with an array you will only have to use one formula to do things like adding a large list of values together and then getting the average. That is a very simple example, but the point is that you no longer need a "total" column. Arrays have a wide range of uses and this is a simple introduction.
