I saw EXCELISFUN TRICK 369. I need to do something similar. I tried to follow his code and couldn't. Then I tried copying it and growing his records and still couldn't get it to work.
What I am trying to do is on the first list use an inventory list. Which could be about 2000 - 5000 records or maybe double that (not sure how big of a list I could use in Excel). But lets say it is the max number (if someone could tell me that number I would be most appreciative).
I then will load a second list, or would load a list into second column. I then want the difference (what is missing) from the second list to appear in the third list. If it can give me the row of where it is in the first list that would be great (not a problem if you can't). I just don't know why the code from that video is not working any help would be greatly aprreciated?

Dynamic sub tables based on a master sheet array formula
The formula in question is:
=IF(ROWS(A$7:A7)>$E$1,"",INDEX('2010Corn'!A$4:A$17,SMALL(IF(Table2[From]=$B$1,ROW(Table2[From])-ROW('2010Corn'!$H$4)+1),ROWS(A$7:A7))))
B1 is the customer I'm looking for, E1 is the count for the customer and the master page is 2010Corn. I have 20 sheets looking to this master page for data. It works great, except for an issue when adding a new line in the master table.
What is happening is when I get to the end of a row, I tab to enter a new line in the table. It takes up to a minute for the cell to change color and for me to regain control of the computer.
I have run a performance trace and while the computer is locked, one of the CPU core's is pegged for the whole time with a processor que of up to 10 items at a time.
My question is...does anyone have any hints how to optimize this formula?

I am asked to do the question below
. Create frequency tables with class boundaries for the age 9.5, 19.5, 29.5,
39.5, 49.5, 59.5, 69.5, 79.5 for HT and WT. Find the mean, median,
mode, midrange, range, standard deviation, variance for these frequency
tables. Draw corresponding histograms, frequency polygons, pie charts.
Now here comes the tricky part..
I know how to make a frequency table of a single variable, but I have got no clue ho to make a frequency tables of other two that corresponds to the class boundaries of the corresponding age boundaries.
It is even possible?

I want a frequency distrbution of unique ZIP codes as weighted by the number of customers, as follows:
ZIP CUSTOMERS ZIP OCCURS PERCENT OF CUST.
----- ------------- ------------- -------------
64151 14 2 50%
64152 11 2 39%
66666 3 1 11%

I am trying to generate frequency distributions separately for hundreds of populations which vary in size (between 10 and 120) in 9 categories (Bins), is there a simple way to generate this information?
I have a worksheet with two columns of data
Column A has contains a reference code, d1, d2, d3....and so on to d6
however, this code can occur more than once.
Column B has a random number against the reference codes (could be anything
between 1 -100) e.g.
d1 5
d2 7
d1 10
d3 1
d1 5
d5 6
d4 20
d4 5
d6 15
d5 6
d1 10
I would like to calculate the number of occurances of each reference code
with each number, i.e. the number of d1's with number 5 = 2, the number of
d1's with 10 = 1.
Can anyone help?

I am running a monte carlo simulation on a financial product.
I generate 100 simulations of a product with a 1 year maturity and with monthly observations. I need to build frequency distributions and charts for 2 variables
let's take an exemple of how it works:
I generate 1 year of daily log returns of a stock
every month there is a "fixing" where I check if the stock value is above or below 2 levels (let's say 90 and 110).
so after 1 year, I have 12 observations
on each observation:
if stock < 90: I return 0
if 90 < stock < 110: I return 1
if stock > 110 I return 2
then, I count all the occurences of 0, 1 and 2 over the 100 simulations
if stock > 110 on any observation: I don't continue the calculation for this simulation and proceed to the next one.
I only count 0 when it occurs on the last observation.
Now what I'd need is to generate a distribution frequency and a chart for this simulation. I need to do that for at least 2 out of the 3 variables: when the result is either 1 or 2
The X-axis would be the observations dates (in this case, the X axis would range between 1 to 12).
does anybody know how I can do that in vba please?
I don't really know where to start from...

How can I sort a range of numbers in (columns and rows)in order to calculate
frequency distribution?
eg.
57 61 52 50 63
85 62 48 75 60
52 45 48 83 30
65 60 72 50 41
How do I sort them to determine how many times the number 48 appears?
I need to develop a frequency distribution as well as a histogram from the attached data
It would be appreciated if someone can advise on how I go about doing this
