Facebook texas holdem poker training video from ExcelExperts.com
I'm doing math for texas holdem poker, and in this game the Ace can have a value of 1 or 14.
I want to work out whether there are two connected cards on the flop, and so far my grid will show that "two connected" is true, if the flop is anything but an ace and a 2, because it recognizes the value of A as 14 only.
Is there a way to have calcs concerning the Ace calculated in two different ways (once for 14 and once as 1)
Thanks guys,
Ben
Hi All
Im trying to make a video poker game in Excel using VBA and formulas.
Ive got the random card selection to work, and the betting and holding cards to work like a dream....but I wanted to know if their is a easy of caculating the hands.
The only way I can think of is having a hidden sheet with the 2million possible hands on it...i dont really fancy writting them out to be honest.
I have found one on the net, but I would like to make my own as I learn new things that way...plus the sheet is in some other launguage which doesnt help!

I have a list of about 10,000 odd training records and I need to find, for each of the approx 300 course codes, the earliest and latest dates the course has been run.
Columns of data a
Course Code
Course Name
Start Date
Finish Date
User name
So for each of the 300 course codes, I need to get the earliest Start Date and the latest Finish Date.
I'm familiar with Max/Min functions, Named Ranges and how to find the unique Course Codes from the list. But not so sure about how to set up a formula to find the records for one course code against which I can apply the max/min function.
Any help would be appreciated.

Hiya,
Is there any way to import a list of your friends from facebook?
The list can be imported and displayed in any way, but each cell needs to contain just one name.
Thanks for the help of anyone who knows facebook
Juan Pablo suggested this months ago, and I finally got around to putting it together.
If you are a member of Facebook and can list yourself as a fan of MrExcel.com, that would be cool. I'll have a drawing this Saturday 8/23/2008 out of all the fans for a free book from the MrExcel store.

Just tried to link a MrExcel.com thread to a friend of mine on facebook, and it said that this site has been "flagged as abusive or spammy". Wonder if that is something we can protest to the facebook admins to take us off the blacklist.
