Hi, I have created a file that will be helpful to my colleagues and I'd like to create a demo to explain them how the tool works. Is there any programme I should get or can I do it with excel?
Thanks!
regards,
I have imported the Demo.txt file from the PowerPivotSampleData.zip
There are 1,098.216 Blanks dates cells and 714,672 with dates.
Is there a bug in PowerPivot or the Demo.txt file??
I am looking for a demo file for practicing with Pivot Table. tried to seach
on the web, but unable to find one.
I am looking to create a demo version of a spreadsheet. I have seen numerous post about writing the passkey to the registry but i have not been able to find in starting points as to how to do this. Could someone please point me in the right direction?
The file from on how to insert a picture into a excel page from a "named path" is great. I could make real use of this but would want the picture to go on the report sheet, vs the menu sheet where the "week" is being selected. The files is at.... http://www.contextures.com/excelfilesRon.html
I have tried moving the named range for the picture to another sheet, but it errors out. Can this be done with this routine.
Tom
Hello!
Kindly help me to make a excel file demo version which will expire after 30 days of first use (The Register message should appear after 30 days).
Also if possible the file should not work even when transferred to a new computer.
Thanks and regards,
Shankar
Greetings all -
For some Excel courses I teach at the beginning and intermediate levels...
I am hoping to get some files with LARGE amounts of data to incorporate as teaching examples. Textbook data sets are usually woefully inadequate for instructing pivot table and database features in Excel (and Access).
Any help pointing me to online data sources, or if any of you folks are willing to share real data, would be greatly appreciated.
Regards,
Brian
I have downloaded the data files that go along with this book and importing the 1st file into Excel 2010 Power pivot I get the following error message. The name of the file I am importing is demo.txt.
An error occurred while loading the file.
More Details:Failed to retrieve data from demo[3]#txt. Reason: Invalid bracketing of name 'demo[3'.
On the import wizard the file is Demo with no brackets but the error message says it has brackets.
Greetings and Salutations!
I want to provide prospective users with a fully workable "DEMO" Excel file that will shut down after a few days by deleting the main macro allowing access to the inner workings of the file.
The macro button allowing the user to enter into the hidden inside of the workbook is, lets say, called "Click here to enter" and is on sheet 1. (Called ("Whatever").
I want this button deleted, lets say, 3 days after the file's been opened for the first time. Even if the file is closed, must the process counting down carry on. If the file is opened on day four only after it's only been open on day one previously, the button must just disappear on opening, if at all possible. No message alerts saying "1 Day left" must be displayed, please.
Any way anybody can help, please!?
Warm greetings
Harry
I am trying to use a template (blood sugar) and have two problems. I need
more columnsz but can't seem to format them the same. 2. I want to have a
cell with two devided cells under it as in first and last names only this
will be insulin dosage and 2 types of insulin. I can't follow the demo
because i can't remember the steps. My help seems sometimes to give answers
to something besides what I ask so I am really having problems. Also will I
still have the template if i don't save this emssed up file --- unless i can
fix it.
