We have recently upgraded from Office 2000 to 2007. One of our users had an add-in that worked under Excel 2000. When we upgraded his desktop computer, the Add-In tab does not appear. Selecting the Office Button, choosing Excel Options and then clicking on the Add-In item causes Excel to shut down.
Any thoughts?

We Have Anumber of excel files created in Macintosh Excel 2000 with graphs.
These sucessfully open using Excel 2000 but all crash when using Excel 2003.
The PC is on a network with XP profesional operating system.
Hi All,
I was wondering if anyone had come across this problem. I have two
separate applications in which Excel 2003 will not run my code.
On one application, it won't recognize a userform when I am in a sub,
but if I call the userform in the parent sub that calls the problem
sub, it will recognize it. Strange!
In the other one, the code is simple:
thisworkbook.activate
sheets("data entry").activate
It chokes on the 2nd line.
I even tried:
thisworkbook.activate
x = activesheet.name
and it choked on that too.
The error is: Run-time error '32809'
Application-defined or object-defined error.
Any ideas?
Hi,
I was using an excel file in 2003. This file has a lot of formula. I opened this file once in 2007 and the file got currupted. Now if I open the file in 2003 then for all the formulas I am getting #N/A error. Can someone please help me ?
Regards,
Javed
Can anyone give me some insights into possible compatibility issues between Excel 2004 for Mac 11.3 and your plain vanilla Windows-based Excel 2003?
Any observations you have will be valued highly!
Hi
When I click on an Excel doc., Excel starts up but does not open the doc.
When I rgiht click an .xls and then choose Excel to open it it says that
Excel cannot find the document on the indicated path. The path shown is
indeed the path to the doc and the doc is there.
When I drag an .xls into a runing Excel it opens correctly.
Other apps. such as Word open the docs correctly but cannot open docs with
links to Excel sheets.
Any ideas?
Regards,
Marc
This topic on Ozgrid provides just what I need, but limited to only 2 criteria - my VBA is not up to extending the code to the ten criteria that I need. Can anyone point me in the right direction please?
VB:
Function AutoFilter_Criteria(Header As Range) As String Dim strCri1 As String, strCri2 As String Application.Volatile With Header.Parent.AutoFilter With .Filters(Header.Column - .Range.Column + 1) If Not .On Then Exit Function strCri1 = .Criteria1 If .Operator = xlAnd Then strCri2 = " AND " & .Criteria2 ElseIf .Operator = xlOr Then strCri2 = " OR " & .Criteria2 End If End With End With AutoFilter_Criteria = UCase(Header) & ": " & strCri1 & strCri2 End Function
